What is BeautyFit BeautyBum?
There are many lotions that claim to firm, tone, and shape the skin as they moisturize, reducing the appearance of cellulite. BeautyFit BeautyBum is totally different. It claims to burn the fat that causes cellulite, turning it into energy and making your bum and legs smooth, sexy, and healthy. This is an astounding claim, since even the strongest anti-cellulite creams can only thicken the skin to make cellulite less visible. We are definitely interested in looking at the ingredients in this product to see how this claim will be achieved.
Ingredients
Deionized water, Aloe Vera Gel, Soybean Oil, Glycerin, Carnitine, Caffeine, Coenzyme A, Coenzyme Q, Ethoxydiglycol, Sambucus, Nigra Flower Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate, Butylene Glycol, PEG 8, Bupleurum Falcatum Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Palmitate, PEG-40 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).
Pros
This product may moisturize the skin.
Cons
This product is dangerous. It contains parabens, which are irritating to the skin, but can also cause serious problems if used often. This is an ingredient often found in cheap cosmetics. This cream claims that you may notice redness when it is applied because of the “fat mobilizing” properties, but we are much more inclined to believe that this is because of cheap ingredients like these parabens.
This product contains caffeine and many other products that dehydrate the skin. This will offer temporary toning, but will not last in the long term. As soon as you stop applying the cream, the moisture will return and so will the cellulite. This does not burn fat and it is not an effective treatment for cellulite.
Conclusion
We would not recommend this product. It is ineffective and potentially dangerous. Look for a product that contains retinol if you are interested in reducing the appearance of cellulite.
