Brought to you by DDF, or Doctor’s Dermatologic Formula, the Erase Eye Gel is supposed to be a natural way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles around the eye. It is not meant as a wrinkle cream just for the face, but just targets the eye area. It contains seven different ingredients and each of these are supposed to work together to help reduce moisture, reduce puffiness, and decrease the appearance of dark circles. This product is more affordable than many so let’s check and see if it has the ingredients needed to really do all that is says at this affordable price.

Price: $48.00

DDF Erase Eye Gel ingredients include Sodium PCA, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Vitamin K, Kojic Acid, Yeast Beta Glucan, Japanese Green Tea, Vitamin C. Some of these ingredients are targeted at lightening the skin, others such as Sodium PCA act as moisturizers. The vitamins are meant to strengthen the capillary walls to reduce the darkness of skin especially under the eyes. The best ingredient we saw in this formula was the Kojic acid. This has the ability to penetrate the skin to transport other nutrients to the deeper layers.

The main drawback to this formula is that it doesn’t actually contain any ingredients to target the eye. Products that use peptides like eyeseryl are able to actually target the eye area and increase collagen for strengthening of the skin fibers. There are no peptides in this formula. While it may be affordable, it will not give you the best benefits. It is better than some products that are just moisturizers, but we suggest going with a product that contains a high amount of peptides.
