Strivectin SD is advertised to repair stretch marks, reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet. The manufacturer claims it has been shown in clinical trials to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and to work no longer how long you’ve had wrinkles. It uses a proprietary blend of skin firming agents, elasticizers, and skin moisturizers. To accomplish this, it uses deionized water, C-12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, sesame oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, sweet almond oil, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, striadril complex, glycerin, PPG-12/SMDI copolymer, glyceryl stearate, PEG 100 stearate, cocoa butter, stearic acid, shea butter, tocopheryl acetate, mango butter, peppermint oil, methylparaben, xanthan gum, propylparaben, triethanolamine, butylene glycol, disodium EDTA, retinyl palmitate, and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate.

Price: $135/6 oz tube

Strivectin SD is widely available through many online third party sellers as well as through quite a few stores. It uses quite a few soothers for the skin as well as moisturizers to promote softer, smoother skin.

While Strivectin SD uses quite a few moisturizers and skin soothers, everything else is basically a filler. Strivectin SD is filled with dyes and food additives. I’m not sure if they really thought these were valid and useful ingredients, or if they just thought that if they used enough big names nobody would know the difference. With a proprietary blend, I usually have to speculate about if it is just a bunch of fillers with a few descent ingredients. Here I don’t even have to think about it, because most of the ingredients are fillers. The makers of strivectin claim to have clinical studies and trials to prove their product works. But from my research, you would be hard pressed to actually find the studies themselves.

Strivectin SD is more expensive than the average wrinkle cure currently on the market. It is widely available through many different sources. But it’s chalked full of nothing but fillers, making it completely useless. If it were selling for $5, consumers may be able to consider it a little money lost. But at $135, it is far from a small investment in the world of wrinkle cures and certainly not worth wasting the money.

I have been using Strivectin for over 1 yr, no results in wrinkle removal but moisturizes. A waste of money. Same as Ponds but for a lot more $$$
